How copays work

The provincial subsidy covers a portion of childcare fees based on income. Some families may pay $0 after subsidies. Families above thresholds pay the full provider fee or a co-payment.

⚠️ Waitlist

Winnipeg and other urban centres have waitlists for licensed spaces. Start looking 6–12 months before your need date. Some centres use their own internal waitlist systems.
